Vision

August 27, 2008- Getting ready for the Leadership meeting for the Celebrate Recovery team. This is a big step. The thing is, there are 3 stages of catching vision and my prayer is that we will all catch it and run with it.

1. People catch the vision in such a way as,"what can it do for me"? The vision seems great and these people will look for ways to benefit from what's going on.
2. People catch vision to the point of being devoted and giving towards the vision as long as it's comfortable. This is progressive growth but some times we must go beyond our comfort zones with ministry.
3. People catch vision and eagerly give their lives over to it. The New Testament Church acted in this manner. When they caught the vision of what God wanted to do they gave their lives wholly over to it and much was accomplished through them.

My prayer is that our T.E.A.M. catch the vision in such a way that they give their lives over to it and that the work of ministry go forth with God's thumbprint.
