August 1, 2008- We are not God! Oh, I know we say we're not but we act like we are. If someone does something other than the way we think it should be done, we judge them. If somebody listens to music that we don't think is acceptable, we judge them. If they don't react to a difficult situation the same as we do, yep, we judge them. Judgement is for the Lord, not us. It was quoted once, "If God doesn't judge a man until after he dies, then why do we?" Anyway, I said all that to say this. We are not God. For the next few weeks I'll be discussing the 8 principles of Celebrate Recovery. First things first, We are not God!
