Principle 8

August 8, 2008- Principle 8 in Celebrate Recovery says, " Yield myself to God to be used to bring this Good News to others, both by my example and by my words". It is a hard thing to do but it has great benefits. The Bible says in John 15:13 (paraphrase) there is no greater love than one that lays down his life for his friends. Every day we should do that easily. What I mean is the way we can lay down our lives is to put the need of others ahead of our need. The world is a hurting place and it needs people who have submitted to God to meet the needs of society. We do this through not only what we say but what we do as well.(Col. 3:17& 2Thess. 2:17).
