The useful enemy

September 3, 2008- We always think of the enemy as something to avoid at all cost. But the enemy plays a very important role in our promotion. Sometimes God uses the enemy( and guys I'm not talking about the red guy with the horns and the pointed tail). It's the people that are used by our enemy that make life uncomfortable for us to say the least. But the very thing meant for our harm, God will use to our good, that many will be saved.(Emphasis Gen. 50:20,mine). Anyway when God has used every possible resource in the arena we are in He will use our enemy to move us to the next. The next promotion. The next place of ministry. The next absolutely wonderful area of our life. Our job is not to avoid this, but to embrace it. Matt. 5:10-11 give us an account that the blessed suffer and are lied on. But Jesus takes the cake when he say "rejoice and be glad". When things seem as if there is an enemy directly appointed to destroy you then remember, my season is about to change.
